Jeff's birthday card

I had so much fun making this card. I knew when I bought the itty bitty stamps and punches that I would have a great time creating with them!! Yes, I stole the idea from the Stampin'up catalogue, but I put my own spin on it and love how it turned out! You can't tell from the picture, but the cupcakes are all pop-dotted. The cake stamp, ribbon and paper are from CTMH.

Valentine's day Wedding Invitations and Thank You cards

I've been making my own cards for about 4 or 5 years now so when I was preparing for my wedding, I decided to make my own invitations and thank you cards. I found an idea on the internet for the invitations that I thought were really neat and talked to my sister-in-law Tina to see if she could help me design it. We sat together one night and brainstormed how it can be accomplished and I went home with a prototype (Thanks Tina!). I got to work on them right away. Stefan was laid off so he asked me to show him how to stitch so I did! I came home the next night and most of the bride's dresses had been stitched! That's what I call a team effort but I'm so proud of them. The thank you cards was entirely my design and I love how they turned out too. I also did our party favours. It was a package with the boxes to put together. I added our names and date of the wedding as well as a 'Thank You' at the back of the boxes in silver heat embossing powder. Filled them with 'of course' Valentine's Day candies !

Been thinking alot about my father-in-law lately... I miss him dearly. This is the last Birthday card I made him in September 2009 and he passed away in February 2010. My first time using Velum. I love how it turned out :)

MyCreativeSpace

I have made so many cards over the years, however, I still have to upload some of my most current ones to the computer.
I chose this card because it is a card I brought to a card workshop where there was a contest for the best card to send over to a hospital for sick children. Not only did I win the competition, but I also hope the card brought a smile to a sick child's face :) Win/Win
